Curriculum

At Child Prodigy we create a fun environment for your child which they will look forward to every time.

Child Prodigy workshops last between 1.5 -  3 hours on Saturdays.

We use a combination of intellectual and physical activities to help your child fulfill their potential while becoming more sociable.

The structure and nature of the exercises means that an eight year old can benefit just as much as a five year old and vice versa. This age range enables an environment for teamwork, growth and development.

The younger children are stretched and stimulated while the older children blossom and further build on their self esteem and confidence. Although exercises are adapted to the range of capabilities, the older children benefit from the opportunity to influence activities and gain valuable leadership skills from an early age.

The core workshops activities cover the following:

Mental warm up – Workshops consist of a fun interactive learning exercise involving some movement, this section focuses on the children warming up both mentally and physically. Your child will benefit from an improved  confidence contributing to a healthier lifestyle and all round wellbeing.

Life skills, Soft skills and Creativity – this session concentrates on confidence building exercises, social skills, teamwork and improvisations. A range of stimulating visual aids help children to refine their sense of colour and texture, develop motor skills and build on their library of experiences. The animated and interactive storytelling sessions will enrich your child’s vocabulary and creative instincts during this critical period.

Communication - the unique approach makes it ideal for improving children’s concentration and communication skills, the story telling helps to develop social skills, broad vocabulary and comprehension.

Your child will not only have a lot of fun throughout the process but will seamlessly develop key life skills such as increased awareness, confidence and enriched vocabulary.

In fact, you will start noticing the benefits within just a few weeks and you will be proud of your little 'prodigy'.

With a range of games and exercises, the sessions are always stimulating and fun.

The stimulating environment enables your child to develop better self-worth, creativity and a whole range of social skills that can make a positive difference to their confidence, independence and happiness.

Our facilitators

Our facilitators usually have substantial experience working with children and a passion for inspiring development.

There is a rigorous interview process that not only tests their written and verbal communication but also their ability to be animated and enthusiastic about working with children to aid development.

As part of the selection process, professional references and a full CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) are also completed.

All facilitators are also required to complete a Health & Safety and First Aid training focused on children and babies meeting Ofsted requirements. The program training is comprehensive with objectives of the curriculum clearly outlined and adhered to.

There’s also ongoing development and training for all facilitators , with a periodic performance review and appraisal process to ensure that the development objectives and level of service is maintained.
